Frankfurt – For reasons that are not yet known, a dispute between a 53-year-old woman from Frankfurt and a 51-year-old woman in a wheelchair from Mainz escalated on Thursday afternoon (4 August) at Frankfurt Central Station.
As reported by the Federal Police Inspectorate in Frankfurt am Main, the woman from Frankfurt hit the wheelchair user several times with her fist on the upper body, arms and face.
She defended herself with several kicks, whereupon the woman from Frankfurt tried to push the 51-year-old wheelchair user from the platform onto the track, between the buffer stop and the end of a train standing on platform 21.
However, a previously unknown witness prevented this through his courageous intervention.
The two women who were fighting were eventually separated by federal police officers.

The wheelchair user suffered minor injuries in the form of bruises on the head and pain in the upper body and thighs, the 53-year-old woman from Frankfurt, who was provisionally arrested by the Federal Police, was uninjured.
As part of the investigation into the woman from Frankfurt, the police are looking for the witness who showed civil courage in this incident.
