Arab reports: individuals from Iran and Lebanon died during the assembly of a ballistic missile in Sana'a • In Yemen they claimed: "Five engineers of the Houthis were killed"

Mysterious explosions in Yemen: The Saudi "Al-Arabiya" network reported today (Monday) the death of six Iranian and Lebanese experts, in addition to dozens of members of the Houthi militia in two explosions in Yemen.

According to the report on the Saudi network, the incident occurred as a result of the explosion of a ballistic missile by the Houthis during its assembly.

According to the report, it is a factory and weapons warehouse belonging to the Houthis near a training site at the al-Hafa' base located in eastern Sana'a.

Following this, it was reported that the militia blocked access to the site and prevented people from approaching it, including ambulances.

At the same time, a security source quoted in Yemeni media said that the explosion was caused by a ballistic missile during its assembly in a special hangar of the Houthi militia near Sana'a airport.

The security source said that "the fire in the hangar lasted nearly two hours. Five engineers belonging to the Houthis were killed by the rocket explosion and the accompanying explosions."

The source added that several civilians who lived in the vicinity were injured by shrapnel.

Last Tuesday, the houdna was renewed in the war in Yemen between the Saudi coalition and the Houthis who receive support from Iran.

According to the report on the Saudi Al-Arabiya network, the Houthis are taking advantage of the ceasefire to smuggle drones from Iran and assemble missiles from used parts. The hodna began in April and has been going on for four months.

Local residents told Yemeni media that the mysterious explosions occurred in the southeastern suburbs of Sana'a in the early hours of Monday.

According to the residents, flames were seen from the camp of the Houthis.

They stated that the explosions occurred within a minute of each other.

On top of that, confusion was reported in the Houthis' propaganda channels.

Thus, for example, residents testified that the radio station of Sana'a, which is under the control of the Houthis, reported in the first minutes about aircraft of the "enemy" that attacked the capital.

However, the station later apologized for the report and claimed that they would explain the incident later.

Other reports claimed that the explosions were caused by a failed rocket launch.
