This evening, the House of Arabic Calligraphy and Arts Association held a dialogue session entitled “Attendance of the Realistic School in International Museums” presented by the plastic artist Omar Ramadan, as part of the activities of the Fine Art Festival 2 at the Cultural Center in Abu Rummaneh.
In a statement to SANA, the artist Ramadan pointed out that the school of realism in all its styles of classicism, impressionism, expressionism and others is one of the most important art schools in the world, indicating that this school formed the base from which the rest of the art schools were launched and the basic curriculum of international art academies.
Ramadan saw that the realistic school still preserves a large number of its followers, who consider it the basis for their artistic works, despite the difficulty of dealing with it and the great responsibility that it imposes on them.
The artist Ramadan, who frequently visits the most important international art museums by virtue of his work as a civilian pilot, also made it clear that most of the works in which these museums are rich belong to the realist school, with its beauty and special artistic charm.
The dialogue session included interventions from the audience and a presentation of a group of pictures of the most important international paintings from the realistic school of a number of famous international art artists, which were taken by the lens of the artist Ramadan.
