A 34-year-old Poinger who threatened and insulted police officers at the Ostbahnhof had more than two parts per thousand alcohol.
That wasn't his only failure.
Munich/Poing – A very drunk Poinger molested people on an S-Bahn on Sunday evening and later “massively verbally abused and threatened” federal police officers at Ostbahnhof.
This is what it says in the press report of the Federal Police Inspectorate in Munich.
Around 9:30 p.m., passers-by at the Ostbahnhof drew the attention of a patrol to the 34-year-old.
"When the officers spoke to him, Poinger immediately reacted extremely aggressively," said the federal police.
The press report states that the man had an alcohol concentration of 2.72.
When the police officers announced that they would take him to the station, he "gestured in a threatening manner in the direction of their heads and faces".
Even the announced activation of a bodycam could not help calm him down.
Because of his behavior, Poinger was brought to the ground and tied up and transported to the office.
(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Ebersberg newsletter.)
Criminal charges have been filed against him for threats and insults.
After consultation with the Munich I public prosecutor, Poinger was able to leave the office at liberty.
The report states that he was "a little calmer".
