AMLO will issue a decree so that the National Guard depends on the Army

The president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, reported that he will issue a presidential decree or agreement to transfer the functions of the National Guard to the Ministry of National Defense.

The decision generates rejection since this security body was created as a civil body and not entirely a military one.
