On the two Sinnflut Sundays, there was not only music and dance interludes on the Gewandhaus stage: the Backstage Hairdesign team with salons in Erding and Dorfen cut hair there and collected donations, which are now going to Erding refugee aid.
Customers left a total of 886 euros in the donation jar on both days of the campaign.
The two owners Ali Shafie (2nd from right) and Lucas Lopes (3rd from right) added another 120 euros, "because I really wanted to donate a four-digit amount," as Lopes explains.
Anita Stang from Refugee Aid (4th from right) was very happy with the 1006 euros.
The fundraiser was already held at the Sinnflut festival in 2019.
"Back then it was still on the market square," says festival organizer Lea Feller (left), "but this time we wanted more limelight for such a good idea, so we moved it to the Gewandhausbühne."
