The Bairer Trachtler are again organizing their forest festival weekend on the Stoaberg - an insider tip for families and connoisseurs
Bavaria – After a three-year break, the idyllic location between Antholing and Nettendorf will be transformed back into a fairground by setting up booths and huts and, of course, a stage.
The active ones start on Friday.
The young Plattler group invites you to the "Woidweinfest".
Aufspuin becomes the "trump or critical music".
Selected wines, snacks and, above all, dancing and having fun are the order of the day.
The "attractive" are well prepared.
On Saturday, the Bairers will have Italian visitors from the Aosta Valley.
The local brass band "Pont Saint-Martin" plays for the "open-air concert".
In the event of bad weather, this event will be moved to the Bair clubhouse in Antholing.
On Sunday, August 14, from 12 noon, the "Forest Festival" is now on the program.
Guests should want for nothing and entry is free.
As in previous years, landlord Peter Wachter from Hohenthann will take care of your physical well-being with Bavarian snacks and grilled delicacies and, for the first time, fish on a fish stick.
In the coffee bar, home-made cakes, tarts and lard noodles, as well as coffee, iced coffee and ice cream are offered and the wonderful Maxlrainer beer is served, served by the Bairer Trachtlerinnen.
A raffle booth, a natural bowling alley and a horse carousel have been set up for entertainment.
The rifle club is also building a shooting range to test the accuracy of the forest festival visitors.
The children always have great fun at the dance stage, where they can let off steam, spin and dance to their heart's content far away from the street, while the parents can enjoy a carefree afternoon.
On Monday, August 15 (Assumption of Mary) the Bairer Trachtler and another Kesselfleischessen hold.
The Bairer Musi will play for this from 7 p.m.
