Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón filed six counts of murder, including an unborn child, and five counts of negligent homicide against the woman suspected in the mass-vehicle crash near Los Angeles, California, on Thursday, August 4.
"This was horrific conduct that caused the death of not only six people, there are also six people injured," the prosecutor said.

It was also detailed that the suspect was driving at 90 miles per hour, and crossed the red light without stopping.
Eight vehicles were involved in the collision and the woman could be sentenced to up to 90 years in prison.
The officers explained that in a case like this the woman's conduct was so negligent and irresponsible that they determined that there was implicit malice, and therefore they can present the most severe charges of murder.
The authorities assured that the investigation continues.
