Commissioned by President Bashar al-Assad, Governor of Lattakia, Engineer Amer Hilal, today offered his condolences to the families of Major General Ali Haidar, who passed away last Friday.
The families of the deceased expressed their sincere thanks for the generous gesture of President al-Assad and their condolences for their late deceased, which had a great impact on their souls.
Governor Hilal said during a funeral in the village of Hilla Ara in the countryside of Jableh: “I have the honor to convey the condolences of President Bashar al-Assad and his sincere condolences on the passing of Major General Haidar, who carried the values of honesty, commitment and loyalty during his heroic and victorious march since the October war, through the battles of honor against the Israeli invasion of Lebanese lands and not the end of it. in the battles against the terrorist organization (the Muslim Brotherhood)."
Governor Hilal pointed out that the foothills of Jabal al-Sheikh and the lands of Beirut, southern Lebanon and others bear witness to the heroism, courage and toughness of the late Haider, recalling his honor by the founding leader Hafez al-Assad and his awarding the medal of championship.
The duty of condolences was shared by the Vice President of the Executive Office, Eng. Firas Al-Sousi.
The late Ali Haidar was born in the village of Hilla Ara in the countryside of Jableh in 1938. He graduated from the Military College in Egypt during the union with it in 1958 and was graded in the military ranks and received the task of commanding the Special Forces in the Syrian Arab Army in 1970 and participated in the Tishreen Liberation War and repelled the Israeli aggression against Lebanon and other battles of honor And the championship.
