Druze canceled their membership in Likud - Almoni renewed their membership without their knowledge

A Druze medalist from Al-Karmel appealed to the Likud tribunal claiming that Almoni paid the membership fees for him and other former Likud members ahead of the primaries.

Druze in the Carmel Ridge, who canceled their membership in Likud and stopped paying membership fees, claim that in recent days they started receiving messages from the various candidates - and discovered to their surprise that a few weeks ago, an unknown person renewed their membership in the party.

Abd Nasraldin, a pensioner of the Port of Haifa with the Al-Carmel medal, estimates that there are hundreds of functionaries, for whom someone paid the membership fees - including about 200 from his village alone.

When he called to find out about the matter, he was given the last digits of a credit card that he does not know at all and the name of a person that he does not know and that he is not even sure exists at all.

Naseraldin appealed to the Likud court and asked "in the most urgent manner to instruct the election committee, the computer unit and the polling stations that will be in Daliyat El Carmel in the primaries not to include functionaries from the Naseraldin family, who functioned or were typed last July in the form of a box census."

In his letter he stated that "I believe that you are not interested in affairs that will harm your movement and present the Likud in a negative light and even to the detriment of an allegedly corrupt heart."

He threatens that if the court does not act as he requested, he will turn to other courts and ask to stop the primaries.

"I left because today's Likud is no longer the same," he explained, "it's not Menachem Begin's Likud."

He says that "neither I nor my friends want to be members of the Likud movement, besides that we did not pay or sign the census forms".

He believes that an "interested party" signed in their place, "in the Penal Code it is called false registration in corporate documents and obtaining something fraudulently."

He added that "a lot of people feel cheated and betrayed in the face of this criminal act and the attempt to plagiarize and use the census for the purpose of one of the candidates, who is apparently behind this mass performance."

His relative, Moen Nasraldin, a pensioner of the security system, also recently found that his membership was suddenly renewed, along with about 300 other people, according to his estimation.

I left three years ago, due to the nationality law," he explained, "suddenly I randomly found that I am a member again.

I am afraid that someone is planning some kind of combine in the internal elections, which are not supervised like in the Knesset elections," he said.
