When the cost of every summer outing with the children can add up to hundreds of shekels, you have to think about how you can reduce expenses • "Israel Hayom" checked and found: how you can enter the hot attractions - and not pay the full price

Many children will finish their summer camp this month, and many parents will look for employment for them for the whole day.

Anyone who goes out with their children knows that every outing can add up to hundreds of shekels.

That's why every possibility to save is important, especially against the background of the cost of living.

The attractions offered during the holiday are many and varied, but there are many ways to discount the tickets and even the food.

According to Hila Kanister Bar-David, CEO of the "Shelech" club, you should check the various benefits to find lower prices for the various attractions: "The issue of the cost of living should be raised on the public agenda and a smart purchase should be made.

It starts with the supermarkets and meets us at the attractions." According to her, there is a 5-6% price increase at the attractions as well: "I guess they want to reduce the corona gaps."

Looking for the new and special

Dodo Zherzhevsky, director of the Museum of Illusions in Tel Aviv Port, says that in the 11 months that the place has been open, more than 150,000 visitors have come to it - this is despite the fact that the price has not changed since the launch.

"We cooperate with consumer clubs and credit companies, and there are options to get tickets cheaper than the original price, which is NIS 94," he says.

Guy Berkovich, VP of Marketing at the Hedran Group - a forum for productions and entrepreneurship and project ventures for Israel, also says that this is a good time for attractions. According to him, the month of August appears to be the one that brings the crowd back to the summer days of 2019: "People want to go out, but they are looking for the new and the special one".

Regarding the prices, Berkovich explains that "the rate of buyers at full price is not even 1 percent. We have to offer full market price because we work with organizations and labor unions so that we can close discounts from them. We know how to offer subsidies and collaborations, so that in the end the customer pays some Slaves".

Berkovich also says that all the exhibitions under his responsibility were sold last year at a price of about NIS 49 after the discount, while this year the prices start at NIS 25.

"We understand that a family doesn't buy one or two tickets and that they have gas and drink expenses. If a ticket costs 100 shekels, it will cost 1,000 shekels for entertainment, which is unrealistic. We do everything so that the parents can buy four tickets for a price of about 20-30 shekels , which is convenient for every pocket," he said.

Mor Matzka, the marketing manager of the Hlonde Children's Museum in Be'er Sheva, added: "This summer we are seeing an increase in the number of visitors. Our activity spans an entire month of activities, games and challenges for the whole family. The museum's prices are affordable, and you can even purchase discounted family packages."

According to survey data conducted by RiseUp, more than half of Israelis testify to the economic pressure expected in the summer.

About 40% of them are preparing for entertainment expenses higher than 5,000 shekels during the holiday period, and about 33% had to postpone urgent expenses during this period, such as medical treatment, psychological treatment, repair and renovation of the house.

And there are also free options: Ofer Eisenman and Uri Gross founded a website (free-il.com) whose purpose is to help people in a time when the cost of living affects everyone, which centers a lot of activities and performances for children and adults with free entry and at no cost.
