Giffey: Avus will probably remain closed on Tuesday

The A115 motorway (Avus) is expected to remain closed on Tuesday due to the fire at a blast site in Berlin's Grunewald.
"In all likelihood, we will not be able to open the Avus tomorrow," said Berlin's Governing Mayor Franziska Giffey (SPD) on Monday evening in the RBB evening show.
There were detonations again on Monday and the ground was still "very, very hot".
Berlin – The focus of the mission is to further limit the source of the fire and “to protect life and limb,” explained Giffey.
She had previously visited the site again and had state fire director Karsten Homrighausen explain the current status.
