Doing reverses for the sake of the consumer:
after Shufersal, the largest chain in Israel, announced that it would not respond to Diplomat's request for price increases, and after other food chains issued a similar statement, today (Monday) the chain issued a statement stating that the chain had reached an understanding with Diplomat that there would be no price increase before the holidays in all marketing chains .
This means that the products that were not recently delivered to Shofersal, will be delivered continuously and are delivered starting today.
Diplomat issued a press release about a week ago according to which customers, who do not approve the proposed outline, will not be supplied with goods.
These are Pantene shampoo, Head and Shoulders, Always bottom protectors, Starkist tuna, Oreo cookies and Milka chocolate.
It should be noted that recently following the pressure on Diplomat and the calls to boycott the company, the company announced that it will subsidize promotions until after the holidays, meaning that now they will not feel the price increases.
Shufersal said: "Shufersal is happy to announce that it has reached an understanding with the Diplomat company, according to which raising prices for the Israeli consumer is out of the question at this time."
We will continue to act as much as we can in order to fight the cost of living.'
After the holidays, the products that are expected to become more expensive are: Pantene shampoo, Head and Shoulders, Oldies bottom protectors and in the food sector it is Tuna Starkist, Oreo cookies, and Milka.
Among Diplomat's brands that will not become more expensive are: the diaper brand Pampers, Gillette, Tide, Fairey, Ariel and Kelloggs.
