Tobias Dreiseitel (25) disappeared for almost three days.

He was last seen on Friday evening at the Brass Wiesn in Eching.

His girlfriend Anna Lux and many volunteers are looking for Eichenrieder.

Eching/Eichenried

– The search for Tobias Dreiseitel is becoming more and more desperate.

"I'm terribly afraid that he's lying somewhere and fighting for his life," says his girlfriend Anna Lux on Monday morning with tears in her voice.

The 21-year-old is active around the clock, sharing photos and searches on social media.

On Monday she is on the road with a group of up to 200 volunteers in Eching in the Freising district to find the 25-year-old from Eichenried.

Her hope: Maybe he took shelter after the Brasswiesn festival was canceled due to the storm.

"Maybe he just gets stuck somewhere and can't draw attention to himself."

So relatives, acquaintances, friends and many people who had become aware of it through social networks met on Monday in Eching.

The starting point was the maypole there, where young adults distributed leaflets and the contact details of the helpers were exchanged.

The police and emergency services had been looking for the whole weekend.

Helicopters were in action, search dogs and the lifeguards.

"We can pretty much rule out the lake," says First Police Chief Inspector Michael Ertl when asked.

The divers from the water rescue service knew exactly what to look for, explained the head of the Neufahrn police inspection.

Anna Lux's social media accounts are overflowing - so much sympathy and so many tips that have so far come to nothing.

The 21-year-old herself constantly posts photos of her loved one and updates from the search on Instagram and Facebook.

According to this, the festival-goer with a red patterned Hawaiian shirt and lederhosen last bought a beer at 10:50 p.m. at the Brass Wiesn beer tent.

He was pretty drunk by then.

Shortly thereafter, the site was cleared due to the storm.

A security guard saw him heavily intoxicated at the entrance to the campsite.

The two friends with whom Eichenrieder was at the festival had already lost him in the crowd.

"His cell phone battery was empty from around 10:30 p.m.," says Anna Lux in an interview with our newspaper.

In addition, the 25-year-old was injured on Friday evening.

He had abrasions on his arms.

"It is unclear how serious the injuries were," Lux writes on Facebook.

She thinks he wanted to make his way home to Eichenried, possibly by S-Bahn, taxi or hitchhike.

"Maybe he was looking for a shelter," writes Lux.

The search dog squadron IHV was on the road twice (see box).

Two tracks were found.

"The first trail ends quite abruptly on the road behind the campsite," says the missing man's desperate girlfriend.

Maybe Tobias got into a car there.

At this point it was canceled.

Another track "showed a clear trend towards the city of Eching," reports Lux on Facebook.

That's why she appeals to all residents to keep their eyes open and to check garages, barns or similar where the drunken festival guest could have protected himself from the storm.

"I also appeal to people who fear any consequences to contact me," says Anna Lux bravely.

"Maybe Tobi got in somewhere - even if it doesn't look like him at all," she speculates - an accident or a fight would be conceivable.

The 21-year-old hopes so much that the right person who can give a crucial tip will get in touch.

The sympathy is so overwhelming - "even if it doesn't really get through to me yet".

The tips are better in general – such as cell phone location or considerations as to which route the 25-year-old could have taken.

It would be at least 15 kilometers to Eichenried on foot, if you were strong and fully oriented, you could do it in more than three hours.

His girlfriend would have picked him up too.

On Friday evening she was at home in the shared apartment in Eichenried.

"He wrote to me that he was longing for me.

I answered: I'll pick you up.” But then the contact broke off – and the days of horrible uncertainty began.

The Neufahrn Police Inspectorate will receive tips on Tel. (08165) 9 51 00 or Anna Lux on her Instagram account.
