In the shadow of reports of a cease-fire: heavy barrages into the Gaza Strip (Walla system)

A new family will enter their home tomorrow (Tuesday) in Kibbutz Kerem Shalom in the Gaza Strip.

This, just two days after heavy barrages of rockets towards the area during Operation Dawn.

Together with them will return to the kibbutz his friends who left it for a short respite in Jerusalem during the fighting days.

The family, including Michel and Evgeny and their three children, was supposed to move to the kibbutz last week, but due to the closure of the Otaf, which began last Monday, they had to postpone their arrival.

Tomorrow they will enter their new home: "We are waiting and excited to move," says Michelle, according to her, the move does not scare her at all.

"What is the difference between Tel Aviv and Kerem Shalom? There is no difference. Unfortunately, even in the center there are alarms and terrorist attacks."

Michelle talks about the community in the kibbutz, which she says helps them in everything.

"Today they don't drain swamps, but settle in the Negev and the Galilee," she says.

"Here in the community there is education with values - Zionism is there. Kerem Shalom is paradise. We got to know the residents already on community Shabbats, and last week they all tried to help us with the transition. The residents are amazing, they all pitched in to help," she testifies.

"Life is slowly getting back on track, the families are really happy to return home, to their peace and their routine," says Roni, the member of the kibbutz who stayed there during the days of the operation.

"You have to take into account that returning to normal takes much longer than entering an emergency situation, so you need patience and patience. We embrace the children who return and welcome them with love."

Regarding the family of Michel Vevgani, he said: "We are very happy about the family's absorption process."
