The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed its call on the international community to hold the Israeli occupation accountable for its continuous crimes against the Palestinian people and its aggression against the Gaza Strip, stressing that the international silence on the terrorism of the occupation and its settlers has become a cover and protection for them that encourages them to persist in their violations.
In a statement carried by the Palestinian Wafa Agency, the Foreign Ministry stressed that the continued impunity of the Israeli occupation and the absence of international will to implement the relevant United Nations resolutions reflect the international community's involvement in the continued suffering and tragedy of the Palestinian people and its catastrophe.
The Foreign Ministry warned against the continuation of settlement operations, house demolitions, the crimes of settlers and the continuous occupation forces against the Palestinians, their land, property, homes and holy sites, which leads to the elimination of any opportunity to establish an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
