The General Corporation for Drinking Water and Sanitation in Damascus announced the resumption of water pumping operations for the Muhajireen neighborhood and its surrounding areas.
The Foundation said in a statement, which SANA received a copy of, that with great efforts and continuous work, the maintenance workshops operating at the Foundation completed this evening the repair work of the 300 mm diameter water distribution line feeding the migrant areas and their surroundings as a result of the emergency failure on the line, noting that as soon as the maintenance work ended, water was pumped back to the areas. mentioned.
The pumping of water was stopped this morning as a result of a malfunction on one of the lines feeding the neighborhood, which led to water cuts to many homes.
