The Russian Embassy in Cairo criticized Washington and Brussels’ traditional defense of the Israeli entity’s practices, stressing that “no one in Western democracies cares about the fate of the Palestinians.”
Russia Today website quoted the embassy as saying in a statement today, “The United States and the European Union adhere to the policy of double standards and traditionally defend the position of (Israel),” noting that they “sometimes issue routine statements about supporting a solution to the conflict in the Middle East to preserve only the stereotype that they are trying to Promote them as protectors of peace globally.
The statement noted that nonetheless, no one really cares about the fate of the Palestinians in these Western democracies that claim to be centers of defense of values and respect for human feelings.
