On the day after the end of Operation "Dawn", in Sderot, scarred by rocket craters, it is difficult to return to normal.

In the city, where dozens of red color alarms were activated in the last few days, people began to return to the streets - but sparingly.

In the city's largest shopping center, you can see residents who chose to leave their homes for the cafes and shops, but as in the previous rounds - many of the regular customers chose to stay at home and not take a risk.

Shimon Elkhart, owner of Greg Cafe in the center, told Walla that the place was not as crowded as on a normal day.

"We are getting used to returning from an emergency situation to normal," he said.

"All the businesses are on Sderot. But it takes time for people to return. It's hard for them to return quickly because we don't trust the other side. After all, we will return for another round in the future, everyone knows."

Shlomi Elkayam, owner of the Idan 2000 store, says that difficult times have passed for him and his fellow business owners.

"Not only on the days of the operation, but also on the days of the roadblocks in the south that preceded it. The shops did not work. The residents stayed in their houses and the shops were empty. In Sderot it is not like in the center, which quickly returns to normal. Here it takes time for people to believe that the ceasefire is in place."

"I said it won't help - today I'm going out," Bohbot, a resident of the city, said with good pride.

"We had the longest Friday we've ever had, ate at the MMD, slept at the MMD, we didn't leave the MMD.

In the past, in 2012, a rocket fell on our house.

There is still concern, I keep my eyes on the grandson and check that there are no alarms in the app."

All the roads that were closed in the area surrounding Gaza were opened this morning and the residents of the area are not required to stay near a protected area - this is what the IDF said this morning. Also, train traffic between Sderot and Ashkelon returned to normal at 12:00. At nine o'clock the crossings from Gaza to Israel were opened to the Poalim crossing, fuel and goods. This, hours after the ceasefire signed last night with the Islamic Jihad mediated by Egypt. According to IDF spokesman Ran Kochav, the IDF will maintain a "careful and responsible policy for a gradual return to the home front."

Kochav summarized the "Dawn" operation and said that an organization Terror fired 1,175 rockets and mortar bombs at Israel, of which 200 fell in the Gaza Strip. 380 interceptions were recorded, representing a 95% success rate for air defense fighters. "We understand that there are 35 Palestinian dead, 11 of them uninvolved, who were killed by IDF fire," he said .

"If they are true, this is the best ratio we have had in all the operations. There are another 15 dead who were killed as a result of failed shots by the Palestinians. These are the data I have,
