Police arrested a man suspected of committing sexual offenses against a minor in the central area.
The police opened an investigation about a month ago, following a report and complaints received against the suspect.
During the month, additional complaints were submitted to the police that described a similar method of operation by the suspect towards girls aged 6-8.
Police officers from the Bnei Brak station located the suspect and he was brought to the police station for questioning, at the end of which he was imprisoned.
The suspect's detention has been extended from time to time at the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court and on Thursday another hearing will be held in his case.
At the defense's request, the suspect's details were banned from publication by the court. The police filed an appeal against the decision and at the hearing held at the Tel Aviv District Court, the court allowed the publication of the suspect's picture without publishing his name.
