These days the EVO 2022 event is taking place, which is considered the biggest eSports competition of the beat player community.
You can find the most experienced players in games like Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Super Smash (before it stopped being played in competition) and of course - Tekken.
The seventh game in the series was released about five years ago, in 2017, and now Andy Namco who develops the series seems to be preparing for the eighth game, releasing a teaser during EVO telling players to prepare for the new title.

The trailer that Bandai Namco released actually shows an update to Tekken 7 and offers different balances for the characters, and at the end you can see an iconic scene that the old players will remember from the first game, where Kazuya carried Hihachi's body and threw it off the cliff.
Immediately after that the image changes and Kazuya's character is updated to a modern look with the inscription "Get Ready".
After the announcement, the Twitter page of the annual Game Awards event also shared the photo, and from here it can be assumed that the official and full announcement of the game will take place at this year's ceremony in December.
Tekken is not just a casual fighting game, but one of the most prominent titles in the eSports scene, and there is no reason to think that the seventh title will be the last in the immortal series.
