A TGI survey published last week revealed the significant increase in the annual radio listening rate in the first half of 2022 - from an average of 65.1% to 61.5% in the previous half.

The corporation presented the best survey since its inception with impressive victories over competitor Glatz Stations throughout most of the day's stretches.

In fact, in the past half-year, the two-headed battle between the current affairs stations of the public broadcasting was finally decided: Network B returned to the familiar numbers - 21.2% (up from 18.9%) and Gali T'hal, in contrast, decreased in the current half-year from 20% to 19%.

In annual terms, Kahn's Kol Israel stations registered a slight increase in the total listening rate to 36.3% compared to 36.2% in the previous period (July 2020 - June 2021). Galach stations (Gali IDF and Galgalach) recorded an increase to 38% in July 2021 - June 2022 compared to 37% in the previous period.

In the regional sector: at the annual level - 103 (full disclosure: under joint ownership with Walla) continued to climb with an increase of over 20%,

But what happens inside the strips inside?

Who brings listeners to his hostel, and who smuggles them out?

And which program made a change in the previous half and cut into the lead?

Yanon Magal and Ben Caspit's program overtakes Tali Moreno and Sefi Ovadia in Glatz by a large gap of 233 thousand against 154 thousand listeners.

Network B is also leading at this hour with 344 thousand listeners

First for the morning segment - the radio's prime time: from internal data that includes the segmentation of the segments, it appears that "This Morning" with Aryeh Golan continues to be the balanced current affairs program in Israel with 329 thousand listeners in the first hour and 412 thousand in the second.

The program leads by a huge gap of more than twice that of Geltz's morning diary.

Kalman Lieberman is the second most balanced current affairs program with 401 thousand listeners and leads on the corresponding strip in Glatz by 33%.

In the second hour of the program, an interesting event takes place: Yanon Magal and Ben Caspit's program overtakes Tali Moreno and Sefi Ovadia in Glatz by a large margin of 233 thousand against 154 thousand listeners.

Network B is also leading at this hour with 344 thousand listeners.

Caspit and Magal continue to stick to the two public stations also in the second hour (10-11) with 201 thousand listeners, when Bageltz broadcasts Rino Tsaror and Network B Keren Neubach - both with 213 thousand listeners.

Tectonic tremors at noon

Even in front of the afternoon journals 103 (Guy Peleg, Natan Zahavi) overtakes Glatz with 129 thousand listeners compared to 91 thousand for Amir Ivgi and Idan Kevlar in Glatz.

At this time Esti Perez is leading with "Bacham Hayom" and 228 thousand listeners - almost three times as much as Glatz.

In this context it is worth seeing that Yael Dan almost doubles the number of listeners in the second hour of the strip.

And what about the balanced 17:00 strip?

After the upheaval in Glatz with the ouster of Yaakov Bardogo, according to the survey, Glatz is paying for the move and losing the premiere with 206 thousand listeners - inside the station including "Morning Tov Israel", and outside - to Benimini and Guetta on Network B, which opens a gap with 295 thousand listeners.

In 103 Ben Caspit, this time without Magel and with Aryeh Eldad - is satisfied with 100 thousand listeners - half from Glatz and about a third from Reshet B.
