"Your duel only comes with justice," says Maximillian White sitting on the huge terrace of the villa where he is staying with his family in the south of Mallorca.

The British businessman, the largest medical marijuana tycoon in Europe with shares in the business valued at 3,500 million euros, smokes compulsively and links one cigarette after another while he recounts what happened on the morning of July 26 inside the Boomerang nightclub of Magaluf, an incident with security guards that led five days later to the death in a hospital in Palma of his little brother Tobias, 35, after spending several days in a coma.

The investigation carried out by the Civil Guard concludes that there was no type of abuse or aggression by the agents who went to the premises to arrest Tobias after an initial altercation with the private security guards of the establishment.

However, the victim's family maintains that the blows and the force used by the agents during his arrest triggered his death.

The family of the deceased says that they rely on 56 videos that they have compiled from the clients of the discotheque who recorded what happened and on the testimonies of 13 people who have declared before a notary.

The Forensic Anatomical Institute of Palma, in charge of the autopsy, has sent samples to the Barcelona Institute of Toxicology to carry out complementary analyzes and conclude the cause of death of the victim, father of two young children.

White explains in detail his account of what happened that night, in which the family went to see an acrobatic show and then to dinner at a restaurant on Magaluf Avenue.

His oldest son and his friends wanted to hang around, but he didn't agree.

“I had an argument with my brother, who accused me of being very strict with them.

He told me to let them breathe and that he would go to accompany them.”

They entered the reserved area of the Boomerang nightclub and stayed there all night until the younger ones decided to leave and Tobias, who was in the club without a shirt, went out to hail a taxi for his nephew.

Upon returning, according to White, a security guard told him that his things had been removed from the table and that he had to put on his shirt and go.

“While he was having a drink with his girlfriend waiting for his things, without speaking to him, two guards grabbed him by the shoulders from behind.

I think my brother resisted, because they grabbed him from behind."

The businessman says that from what can be seen in some videos, up to eight security agents immobilized his brother on the ground by placing handcuffs on him "biting him, hitting him and sitting on him".

In some images recorded inside the premises you can see how his brother remains face down on the ground with several guards on top.

Others show him being taken out of the nightclub in handcuffs in a semi-conscious state.

Several agents of the Civil Guard came to the scene who, according to the businessman's account, did not act appropriately either.

His brother suffered two cardiorespiratory arrests from which he was able to be revived.

The version of what happened in the disco offered by the Civil Guard of the Balearic Islands after the investigation differs from the story given by the victim's family.

Sources from the Armed Institute explain that Tobias was in the disco shirtless and under the influence of drugs.

"He gave one of the security guards a headbutt, who held him back," these sources explain.

The report concludes that the agents moved after a notice from the premises and found the victim "very violent" so he had to be reduced and lying on the ground until the ambulance paramedics administered a painkiller "because he was self-harming ”.

The Civil Guard report states that the tests carried out were positive for cocaine, cannabis,

alcohol and synthetic drugs and that the victim went into cardiorespiratory arrest after receiving tranquilizers from the ambulance paramedics that arrived at the scene.

"He was not beaten, we categorically deny this," they say from the Balearic Civil Guard.

Tobias was admitted to the Son Llàtzer hospital in Palma after being revived by the ambulance paramedics after two heart attacks.

He remained sedated in the ICU from his arrival until three days later he was declared brain dead.

On July 31, the family made the decision to disconnect life support due to his irreversible situation.

White, who brought a trusted doctor from Mexico for a second opinion, denounces that during the first two days the staff denied him access to Tobias, alleging that he was "in police custody, with handcuffs being sedated in the ICU."

The autopsy will have to clarify whether the victim died of toxic causes, suffocation, overexertion, or a combination of any or all of these factors.

The businessman maintains that there was police "brutality" and "negligence" on the part of the hospital.

And he threatens: “There are 2,500 billionaires in the world and I am one of them.

The difference between us and many other people is that we have hundreds of people working 24 hours a day on this and it allows us to be able to fight the battle better than a normal person.”

White describes his brother as "a big teddy bear", a father of two, a Dubai resident and the director of a technology company.

The family, which has had the support of the United Kingdom Ministry of Foreign Affairs, hopes to be able to repatriate the body to Nottingham and plan the next legal steps to follow.
