Hamma Karve was hospitalized in 1949 after she felt ill and disappeared. Her husband searched for her for a long time but never found out what happened to her. The family decided to open the grave and conduct a DNA test • "I don't think it's her grave, the name and age don't match" said her son

Another case in the case of Yemeni abductees?:

Today (Monday) the grave opened in the Segula cemetery in Petach Tikva, where Hamma (Yona) was buried, disappeared in 1949. The son of the disappeared woman, Rahami, came to the opening of the grave in the hope of getting answers after years of uncertainty.

The findings of the grave will be submitted for DNA testing in order to establish a connection to the family.

Hamma was hospitalized in 1949 at Assaf Harofeh Hospital after she felt unwell. Her husband Yehuda visited her every day in the hospital until one day, when he came to visit her, she was not in her bed and the medical staff could not explain what had happened to her. The husband searched for his wife all over Ha'aretz, but in vain. At the time, regarding the disappearance of his wife, he applied to the Manikovsky Commission of Inquiry in 1968, but it did not know how to provide information about what happened to the woman. In the meantime, the husband remarried Yehudit Tzbari, whose first son, Israel Karve, also disappeared.

The removal of the headstone during the opening of the grave of Hamma (Yona) Karva,

During the commission of inquiry into the abduction of Yemeni children in 1995, it was determined that Hamma Karva died on December 5, 1949 at Assaf Harofeh Hospital and was buried on December 7, 1949 at Segula Cemetery in Petah Tikva. According to Hamma's son, Rahami, he and his father never received official documents about Thus. In the full report of the Shelgi Committee, the location of the grave was recorded, but when Rahamim arrived at the place, he discovered that the gravestone was inscribed "Hammam Yosef Omisi", a name that is not the same as the mother's name.

Rahamim believes that his mother was abducted from the hospital in Zerifin, and that the establishment built a fake grave for her to cover up her abduction.

Rahami said in tears in the cemetery: "I think she was kidnapped and taken for experiments. We were in Israel for 3 months and she was hospitalized with stomach pains. Father visited her for a week. She was completely lucid. One of the days he came to visit her, she disappeared. He was told that they We don't know where she is. He looked for her and didn't find her. I don't think it's her grave. It also doesn't fit the name and age. She was 17 at the time. I want to know what happened, I want to say Kaddish and if she's alive then I want to meet her." .

Dorit Gaon, Rahamim's step-sister, said at the cemetery: "We are here today to open the grave, if there is anything there at all. Until now they have been working on us. Father came to the hospital to visit her and then they told him there is no such woman. She was in the hospital because She didn't feel well. She was 18 years old at the time. They removed him from the hospital. We gave him the right to receive the body and bury it. We don't know what happened to her. We don't think it's her grave. Throughout the affair the state tries to keep quiet."

Melchiel, Rahamim's brother from another mother: "They did an injustice. They thought that the Yemenis were spare parts. Something stinks here. It can't be that a woman disappears like that. There was no body, no funeral, and no feast. It can't be that a body disappears like that. Maybe they did experiments on her ".

As I recall, this is the second grave dug up as part of the investigation into the claims in the Yemen abductees case after the opening of the grave of the child Yosef Melamed.
