The police today (Monday) made two arrests of parents following the abuse of toddlers.
A man from Ramat Hasharon was arrested on suspicion of assaulting his three-week-old son.
According to the suspicion, as a result of the attack, the baby suffered a skull fracture.
Also, a couple of parents from Baqa al-Gharbiyah were arrested on suspicion of injuring their four-month-old son.
The police today opened an investigation against a 30-year-old man from Ramat Hasharon, after receiving a report from Ichilov Hospital about a three-week-old baby who came with his parents for treatment.
The medical examination revealed that the baby suffered from a skull fracture.
He was admitted to the hospital's intensive care unit.
Gillot police officers started an investigation, during which the father was arrested and brought to the police station for questioning.
He was imprisoned at the end of the investigation.
Tomorrow the police will ask to extend his detention at the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court.

The second arrest is of two parents from Baqa al-Gharbia, in their 20s.
Their toddler son, four months old, arrived at Hillel Yaffe Medical Center suffering from bruises and bleeding on the brain.
The police opened an investigation and detained the toddler's parents on suspicion of causing him injuries as a result of shaking.
The police intend to request the extension of their detention tomorrow at the Magistrate's Court in Hadera.
