The number of wounded from the army and the auxiliary forces who benefited from the multi-injury law, and the percentage of their disability has changed, reached 5066 wounded.

And the Ministry of Defense stated in a statement published on its website that “the military medical councils and committees have completed their work in implementing the law of multiple injuries to wounded army and auxiliary forces who were exposed to more than one injury during the war operations, and the number of the wounded who benefited from the law and their disability ratio changed to 5066 wounded.”

The ministry indicated that "as a result of the application of the law, a change occurred in the disability rates of the wounded beneficiaries after calculating all their injuries, and the wounded beneficiaries entered new disability brackets that were reflected in their favor in the administrative, organizational, financial, service and care fields, and most of them entered the matrix of services of the Wounded Home Project."

In its statement, the ministry pointed out that “the wounded benefited from services and decisions that include their discharge from service after arranging their rights and financial compensation, and the wounded in the partial disability bracket receive new services, and with them are those whose injuries exceeded 70 percent on the rights allocated to the subtotal disability bracket in terms of compensation and support to start projects productivity, medical care, and other services.”

The statement explained that "the wounded who joined the total disability segment receive extensive services provided by the Jarih Al-Watan project in terms of more medical care, educational support and support in the field of productive projects... and others. These services and rights take into account the needs of each segment, starting with the disability rate of 40% and above." Where all the wounded benefit from the services of the project, taking into account their health status and their physical capabilities.”

The wounded in military operations who had more than one injury, and whose names were not mentioned in the tables issued by the Military Medical Council, can review the Council, bringing with them their identification papers confirming the presence of more than one injury to follow up on their conditions and take the necessary action.

It is noteworthy that Law No. 26 of 2020, issued by the Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces, Lieutenant-General Bashar al-Assad, known as the Multiple Injury Law, carries a wide aspect of evaluative justice among the wounded, and raises the level of care and financial support provided to them, as it relies on a sophisticated method that takes into account all the injuries he sustained. The military, as the new disability percentage gives him new services and decisions commensurate with the nature of the injury, and transfers some of them to higher disability brackets, thus expanding the matrix of rights that they will receive, which is provided by the Wounded Home Project.
