Rabbi Dr. Jacob Negan was released today (Sunday) from Hadassah Ein-Karem Hospital after undergoing emergency surgery that saved his life.
Around the bed of the rabbi of the Atniel synagogue, who is well known to the public due to his extensive activities as part of interfaith peace projects, between Judaism and Islam and between Judaism and Eastern religions, are all the members of his family.
His seven children are already smiling and calm since the danger has passed and his life was saved in emergency surgery at Hadassah Ein Kerem.
His wife Michal is in contact with well-wishers from all over the world who demand his safety and send wishes for a speedy recovery with gifts that come from China, the USA and even Turkey. Rabbi Yaakov, 55 years old, suffered a severe event of sudden bleeding in his brain, he was rushed straight to the hands of the surgeon who saved his life - Dr. Samuel Moskovisi, a senior neurosurgeon at Hadassah Ein Kerem. "Rabb Yaakov arrived home after a long trip abroad and in one second Suddenly he started having a terrible headache," says his wife Michal Asher, who did not move from her bed in the neurology department in Hadassah Ein Kerem.
