A security source admitted today (Monday) that the security system did not hold any events in accordance with the curfew that was imposed in the communities around Gaza, in the days leading up to Operation Dawn.
According to him, the Southern Command did not correctly estimate the extent of the bypass roads to these settlements, so they had to remain closed.
"The settlements' claims are true, we have started working on a phased plan that will deal with this problem," he said.
According to him, this is a complex project, part of which is in the planning stage and part of which is in the execution stage.
"It's not just paving a road. It has to be suitable and safe to absorb the extent of the population."
He added, "We will provide an answer to this in the plan to allow a fabric of life in the envelope in the face of one potential threat or another."
