The solution to the couch potatoes: a 12-date date for Dad outside the box
Liyad Klein and Kobi Tesat, parents of two from Jaffa, understand that we are all drawn to some kind of routine.
There are not always plans, and sometimes when there are - there is no babysitter, and there are evenings that just don't have the energy to go out.
So they decided to get out of the box, literally, and start a business for date boxes

If we had asked Liyad two and a half years ago where she would be today, she would not have guessed.
At the beginning of 2020, she worked as a content editor, until she was sent to work as a result of the corona virus. At the same time, her husband Kobi, who ran an independent business in the field of productions, found himself without a livelihood, when all the events were canceled one after the other. It was a huge potential for a relationship crisis, but precisely then, Filled with uncertainty, Liad created a new path in life for herself, and founded OH MY BOX - a business that offers boxes for unforgettable couple dates.
It all actually started when Kobe's birthday was approaching.
Liad, who always invests in an unusual way, did not know what to do, because the date fell at the peak of the first closure.
She insisted on not giving up on the celebration and began to improvise a kind of box of surprises with games related to both, from a couple's coupon book to kissing roulette.
"It was one of the most successful birthdays we've celebrated. It made us connect in an unusual way. For a moment I never imagined that it was possible to break the routine in such a fun way and also inside the house," she says, adding that the box reignited sparks that the two had somewhat forgotten, and even made her feel Again butterflies in the stomach like at the beginning of their relationship.

"Already that evening I realized that this is what I want to do - to give other couples an experiential and special evening like Kobe and I experienced. A liberating, connecting, sexy and intimate evening that does not require leaving the house. So many couples get caught up in the boring routine, from work and children to small habits that don't change. I would be happy to make all these couples remember again why they chose to be together," she adds.
It didn't take long until the business was born and became a resounding success.
At first they started with a pilot of ten boxes, then a hundred boxes, and as of today tens of thousands of boxes have been sold.
"The corona has made us love the house, unlike today people are looking for the entertainment at home" Leiad points out.
Along with the business that was born, her second son Gon also arrived.
"I started the business with a few days old baby by my side," says Liyad, "there was really no maternity leave, and you can say that the first months until we started producing at the factory were spent next to date boxes instead of next to toys. This, in my opinion, is the best illustration of being an independent woman."

We also asked Liad about the working relationship with Kobi, who entered as a partner in the business.
"Working together with my partner is amazing and hard at the same time. It's hard because we're always together, I have nothing to say in the evening about how my day was because Kobi was there all day. And not only that, the relationship and work get mixed up because we don't always agree. But on the other hand, it's amazing , the creative world has accompanied our partnership from the beginning and Kobi's joining the business was natural. I can say that we are lucky because we got to do what we love - create together. And beyond all that, we love each other very much so of course it's fun to spend time together."
And what about the plans for the future?
"We want to continue producing more different types of boxes. We have quite a few audiences and it's hard to choose where to start. Regardless, we are working on market penetration abroad and many other interesting partnerships. Fortunately, I have amazing partners along the way, and one of them is Also the father of my children."
