As-Suwayda-Sana
The Syrian Arab Red Crescent branch in As-Suwayda governorate provided training to about 102 women from the governorate’s countryside to gain them careers with various manual works.
The head of the branch, Dr. Nawaf Qarmoushi, indicated in a statement to SANA reporter today that the trainings took place within the vocational training program in the Department of Community Services and Protection, with the support of the Danish Red Cross, and included the fields of manufacturing various types of accessories, soap and knitting wool.
Garmoshi pointed out the importance of vocational training to support women, develop their personal skills, enhance their capabilities and empower them to achieve a qualitative leap in their lives for the better.
