A fire in an industrial area in Montaigu (Vendée) left one dead and two slightly injured, a firefighter and an employee, learned Monday August 8 from the prefecture.

The deceased is a young apprentice.
There is a lightly injured employee, a lightly injured firefighter transported to hospital and five employees who received psychological help
, ”said the Vendée prefecture.
Three companies were affected by this fire which started at the end of the afternoon and which was brought under control in the evening.
The fire mobilized around 80 firefighters and around twenty gendarmes to secure the area, according to the same source.
