"Just terrible, this fuss": mockery for measures against queues in front of Stuttgart citizens' offices

Mayor Frank Nopper set up a task force to solve the problem of the long queues in front of the Stuttgart citizens' offices.
On Twitter, however, there is a fair amount of criticism and ridicule for their measures.
Stuttgart - For a few weeks there have been long queues in front of the Stuttgart Citizens' Office in the city center.
If you want to make applications, register or apply for an ID card, you have to be prepared to wait many hours.
In his desperation, a man from Stuttgart stood in front of the office at two in the morning and waited six hours until it opened to definitely get his turn.
"That is out of the question, a shame for Stuttgart," criticized CDU faction leader Andreas Kotz.
Finally, the municipal council of the state capital Stuttgart also got involved.
In order to defuse the situation in front of the citizens' offices, an overall concept was required, which was to be drawn up by a panel of experts.
Stuttgart's Lord Mayor Frank Nopper (CDU) has now set up a "Taskforce for Citizens' Offices" - but has been criticized for it on social media, as

The aim of Nopper's task force is to increase the efficiency of the city's citizens' offices and to improve the service for the people of Stuttgart.
However, they hardly believe in an improvement.
"Just terrible, all this fuss - inefficient and superfluous," writes a citizen on Facebook.
"How about finally bringing the registration office into the newest century," suggests another user.
"Mr. Nopper, please spare us your unbearable efforts," commented another.
But there is criticism on the net for one measure in particular.
For example, it is announced that the queues in front of the public order office will be separated more clearly by markings on the floor from August 9th.
"Clear separation of the queues - it's incredible what the task force has already done," says one user.
“The solution in Stuttgart seems to be: spray everything on the floor!
Rad is considerate here, citizens' office snake there..." teases another on Twitter.
As is well known, problems in Stuttgart are solved with spray chalk,” adds another.
"Of course, these little pictures on the floor help more than reopening the Stuttgart West Citizens' Office," says an angry user.
Proven model could help with the situation in front of the citizens' offices
Citizens think it is "atrociously impudent" that the first thing to do is to take care of floor markings instead of tackling the problem of staff shortages, for example.

(StZ)
reports, there is a proven model that the city of Stuttgart could use: the pilot model from 2014/2015.
At that time there were long queues in front of the immigration office.
With the help of pilots, problems and concerns could be sorted out or clarified in advance, thus improving the situation.
On Thursday (August 11), Mayor Nopper's "Taskforce Bürgerbüros" will meet for the first time and from then on will meet every two weeks at least until the end of the year, as the city announced.
The citizens of the state capital of Baden-Württemberg will certainly follow with excitement what measures are then taken for the situation in front of the authorities.
