"The Flash" actor Ezra M. Miller is accused of stealing alcohol in May from a Vermont home while the owners were away, according to state police.
Vermont State Police found probable cause to charge the actor with felony burglary of a vacant dwelling in the city of Stamford, according to a police news release.
After being alerted to a possible robbery on May 1, police discovered that several bottles of alcohol had been stolen from the residence, according to the statement.
The surveillance footage and statements gave police probable cause to charge Ezra Miller, the statement said, but it did not elaborate.

The actor, who previously appeared as The Flash in several DC superhero movies, was served a citation on Sunday, according to state police spokesman Adam Silverman.
Ezra Miller is ordered to appear in Vermont Superior Court on September 26 for a robbery arraignment, according to the release.
CNN has contacted Miller's representatives for comment but has not received a response.

The actor is starring in an upcoming "The Flash" movie, which is a WarnerMedia production.
WarnerMedia, which includes CNN, is part of parent company Warner Bros. Discovery.
In March, Ezra Miller was arrested in Hilo, Hawaii, and charged with disorderly conduct and harassment following an incident at a bar, according to police.
On April 19, the actor did not object and was fined $500 on the disorderly conduct charge, court records show.
The harassment charge was dismissed.
