Today, the As-Suwayda Governorate Hall hosted a symposium entitled “Reading in the poetry collection “Travel Tickets” by the poet Samia Azzam, organized by the Activity Office in the branch office of the Teachers Union in As-Suwayda.

In her turn, the poet “Samia Azzam” indicated that “Travel tickets” includes a group of emotional, patriotic and social poems, noting that she tried to convey human messages and stay away from the negative ego, based on the fact that poetry played with words and an intuition full of feelings and feelings and a human discourse that is not related to a place or time, as it relied on Words suggestive and far from vagueness and ambiguity.

The head of the activity office in the branch office of the Teachers Syndicate in Sweida “Khaled Jamal Abu Fakhr” explained in a statement to SANA reporter that the poetry collection was issued with the support of the union and its proceeds will go to the Friends of Cancer Patients Association, a literary initiative of a humanitarian nature to emphasize that we need to support each other, especially in light of The difficult circumstances we are living in and to prove that a good word unites us, stressing the keenness of the Activity Office to improve the cultural situation and support all literary, intellectual and artistic initiatives for teachers, especially from the young generation.

It is noteworthy that the poetry collection was published by Dar Al-Balad and is in 100 pages in the middle pieces.
