Said Badran, the advisor to Knesset member Walid Taha from the Ra'am party, was interviewed yesterday on a radio program from Makh and emphasized that "if the coalition had not disintegrated, the government would not have dared to launch the 'Dawn' operation."
Badran was asked by the interviewer: "It was the disintegration of the government that pushed the transitional government to launch the 'Operation Dawn' in Gaza? And if there was another government and you were in it, then the operation would not have taken place?"
Badran replied: "Yes. If the coalition had not disintegrated, the government would not have dared to go into operation 'Dawn.'

After the publication of his words, Said Badran said: "I hereby make it clear that I am not a spokesperson for Ra'am, and that the things I said during an interview with a radio station from here, were said in my own opinion, and do not reflect Ra'am's position."
