Car burns out on the A92 near Unterschleißheim

A car caught fire on the A92 near Unterschleißheim on Monday afternoon.
Unterschleißheim
– On Monday at 3.43 p.m., the Unterschleißheim volunteer fire brigade was alerted to a burning car on the A92 towards Munich.
Arrived at the site, extinguishing work was initiated.
Because the flames in the engine compartment had already been smothered with a powder extinguisher, preventing the fire from spreading, reports the fire brigade.
Grass under the wagon catches fire
The emergency services set up traffic security together with the police.
Due to the drought, the vehicle standing at the edge of the roadway was moved to extinguish the grass that had caught fire under the vehicle.
The Unterschleißheim fire brigade was on duty with 20 people for around an hour.
There were slight traffic delays in the onset of rush hour traffic.
