At 8:30 am today (9th), a male motorcycle driver was injured when he hit a lamp post on Tai Po Road, Cheung Sha Wan.
There is a video of a car cam on the Internet that recorded the moment of the incident. At that time, the man drove a motorcycle at a traffic light near Caldjee Mountain, and went north all the way, turning about 250 meters ahead, but the motorcycle swayed left and right and eventually lost control. After hitting a lamppost on the pedestrian road, the male driver hung on the iron fence on the side of the road.
Other road drivers saw the incident and reported it for help.
When the paramedics arrived at the scene, they found the 43-year-old driver surnamed He Nan in a semi-conscious state with a foot injury. He was immediately taken to Princess Margaret Hospital for treatment.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
