Beijing-Sana
A joint art exhibition was held in Nanjing, China, under the title (Colors on the Silk Road) by the Syrian artist, Walid Ali, and the media, Fairouz Nasr.
The exhibition witnessed the presence of a number of Chinese and foreign governmental, academic and artistic figures, while his paintings reflected the various colors of the Syrian nature in its four seasons through the Silk Road from Syria to China.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, dialogue sessions were held between a number of Chinese artists and academic students with artist Walid Ali, who discussed the plastic art movement in Syria, its history and transformations, while Nasr gave a lecture in which she shed light on the historical, civilized and cultural relations that bring together the two countries.
This exhibition is part of a series of activities carried out by the Syrian family in China in the context of deepening cultural communication between the two countries.
