It seems their goal is Playmobil: three nights in a row, strangers broke into Maximilianpark in Hamm and stole toys.
Authorities now have a lead.

The exhibition for Playmobil, which is currently taking place in Maximilianpark in North Rhine-Westphalia, has now been the target of criminal activities three times.
Hamm's curious hat-trick.
Hamm-Uentrop - A diamond exhibition, a technology fair, maybe even a cattle show - but Playmobil?
Last weekend (week 31), criminals in Hamm, North Rhine-Westphalia, had their sights set on a strange-looking loot with some emphasis.
They paid unauthorized visits to the toy exhibition in Maximilianpark three times – but first things first.
Thieves want Playmobil: Strange criminals break into the exhibition hall in Hamm several times
The perpetrators struck for the first time on Friday (August 5th).
Around 3:50 a.m., according to the Hamm police, the strangers managed to get into the exhibition hall through a window.
Hardly in the building, the burglars fled again - without Playmobil.
While one could assume up to this point that the perpetrators might have decided on the spot that children's toys were unsuitable loot, one was soon to be taught otherwise.
"Between Friday evening, 8 p.m. and Saturday morning, August 6, 9 a.m.," said the police, the strangers climbed back into the hall, again through a - presumably different - window.
This time they took hold and, as far as we know, stole a Playmobil worth a three-digit euro amount.
Hamm hat trick: Playmobil thieves probably act according to the motto "All good things come in threes".
In this phase of events one could begin to question the motivation of the thieves.
Were the break-ins carried out to loot potential collectibles?
In view of the current events surrounding the brand, that would not necessarily be absurd.
As the following video shows, rare pieces from Playmobil and the like can be a profitable investment.
Or were the previously unknown perpetrators part of the target group for Playmobil toys?
Difficult, as camera recordings from Monday morning (August 8, 4:46 a.m.) make clear.
Once again, the thieves entered the Maximilianpark event hall through a window – it is not known to what extent these were locked at all.
This time they called Playmobil from four figures, thereby completing Hamm's hat-trick.
However, they were caught by surveillance cameras during this third burglary.
It turned out that they were two men;
one of them is estimated to be 15 to 20 years old.

One of them wore black trousers, a white hooded sweatshirt and had short blonde hair.
The other man was wearing a light-colored hoodie, white pants and white shoes.
