The Russian Federal Air Transport Agency has extended the no-fly regime in central and southern Russia until August 17.
"The system of restrictions on flights to 11 airports in southern and central Russia has been extended until August 17," TASS news agency quoted the agency as saying in a statement today, noting that all other Russian airports are operating regularly.
The no-fly regime was introduced in a number of regions of central and southern Russia on the 24th of last February, with the beginning of the Russian special military operation to protect the residents of Donbass, and since that time the ban has been extended several times.
