About two months ago, a court convicted Guetta of violence against two demonstrators during the Balfour protest in August 2020. In the verdict, the judge ruled that she "convicts him of assaulting the two demonstrators".
The Department of Police Investigations stated: "The court accepted our position, convicted the defendant, sentenced him to a suspended sentence and determined that a senior police officer, who while performing his duties committed an assault offense - will be prosecuted. It is hoped that the verdict will be a warning sign for every police officer regarding the duty to drive Professionally and avoid the use of force and violence, certainly when it comes to a commander who is an example to his subordinates."
