Hessian authorities remain dirty - big problems with cleaning company

A cleaning company that cleans in many authorities in Hesse is in financial difficulties.
Your boss is in custody on suspicion of corruption.
Hesse – The Waldeck-Frankenberg police headquarters in Korbach and the Kellerwald National Park Center are just two of numerous state authorities in Hesse that currently have an acute cleaning problem.

reports, the public prosecutor's office in Frankfurt is investigating suspected corruption against the responsible cleaning company.
As a result of the investigations, the company is now left with many bills, which is why it has run into payment difficulties, according to a letter from the cleaning company that is available to
HR
.
Apparently the company's cleaning staff no longer come to work.
"We are in a difficult financial situation, which was caused solely by a major debtor, the city of Frankfurt am Main," writes the company's management.
Bills of several million euros are still pending from the city.
A few weeks ago, the public prosecutor's office focused on the cleaning company because it is said to have bribed more than a dozen caretakers from Frankfurt schools.
The head of the company has therefore been in custody since June 23.
Uncleaned authorities in Hesse: "Check open invoices with care"
Since then, the city of Frankfurt am Main has checked every payment made to the cleaning company very carefully.

According to the Landesbetrieb Bauen und Immobilien (LBIH), the state of Hesse placed orders totaling around 11.7 million euros with the company between 2019 and 2021.
Among other things, for the cleaning of the Hessian Ministry of the Interior in Wiesbaden, the tax offices in Bensheim and Limburg, as well as a number of schools.

The LBIH headquarters in Wiesbaden, also a customer of the cleaning company in question, is no longer cleaned, the state office confirmed when asked by

In view of the suspected cases and investigations by the public prosecutor's office, open invoices would have to be checked with particular care, the responsible department head of the city of Frankfurt, Sylvia Weber (SPD), rejected the company's allegations, according to
Hessenschau
.
Suspicion of corruption at cleaning company: Invoices for services not commissioned
In the past, for example, they had invoiced the city for which they would not have received an order, but also invoices for commissioned cleaning that the company would not have carried out.
An investigation into bribery is also underway against an employee of the Office for Construction and Real Estate (ABI) as part of the investigation into the cleaning company.
