Caroline Nest from Frankfurt is known as "Adorable Caro" on Insta and TikTok.

The 22-year-old also has her own fashion label and podcast.

Frankfurt – Adorable Caro is even more beautiful in person than on social media.

She is also very affectionate.

The Frankfurt native, whose real name is Caroline Nest, is more than just a successful influencer with 380,000 people alone following her on Instagram.

She also has her own fashion label, which she named Ninety-9 because 1999 is her year of birth, as reported by fr.de.

And even if everything looks very nice and aesthetic on her Instagram posts, she sometimes presents herself with a double chin or cellulite in her stories as well as on Tiktok and her YouTube videos and asks her followers how they actually get rid of their lady's beard.

Authenticity is extremely important to her.

"I want to show reality.

For me, that also means posting my cellulite or bruises.

It's normal - and no less sexy." Her message to other women: "Stop beating yourself up.

You are great the way you are.”

"Adorable Caro": Her mother is from Malaysia, her father is German

During the interview, the 22-year-old is sitting in her old children's room, which now serves as an office and space for her collections.

She moved out last December and has been living in a downtown apartment with her boyfriend and puppy ever since.

She runs her fashion label together with her father.

This is also part of the interview and always appears in your videos.

Fans commented that he looks like Bernhard Blocksberg, Bibi Blocksberg's dad.

"That's true, but he doesn't like the nickname that much.

I only call him that in the videos, otherwise dad,” says Nest and laughs.

A young social media employee from her team is filming everything that day; Nest's PR agent has traveled all the way from Munich.

The mother has lovingly prepared snacks for everyone, she supports the daughter in the background.

"But she doesn't want to appear in my videos.

She's a very private person, I respect that.” Nest's sister, who is four years her junior, will soon be studying business administration.

"Adorable Caro": It all started with YouTube videos for the school trip

Her mother is from Malaysia, her father is German.

Nest had attended a bilingual high school not far from Frankfurt.

“I speak a lot of Denglish in my videos and a lot of people don't get along with it.

I understand that.

But I don't do it consciously.

At home and at school I always mixed both languages.

Denglisch has accompanied me my whole life.” She says that she slipped into the world of influencers.

It all started in 2014. "I've always liked making videos and then first filmed and edited videos on school trips." Then she just started to talk about herself on YouTube, what she likes, what she thinks.

“I never had the intention of making money from it or making it a career.

It just so happened.

In high school I had to fight hard with bullying because not everyone got along with my hobby at the time."

Her videos, which were already getting more and more clicks at the time, gave her support.

“That was my escape for me.

I was able to exchange ideas with people who like me.

Because I had the feeling that when I go to school there are only people who don't like me."

"Adorable Caro": Health very important after removing a benign tumor

After graduating from high school, Nest actually wants to study media communication, but success has already begun at that moment.

She has her first advertising contracts, for example with an online fashion shop, and soon a management that “saw what was in me”.

Together with her parents, she decides to turn her hobby into a career.

"I'm still very young, I can still study in three years."

She writes her ideas down on paper.

“I am otherwise very digital.

But for me there is nothing that can replace the pad and the pen.

No I-Pad, no mobile phone: Everything you write down with the pen is in your head.

I have the feeling that I am more structured, more organized when it comes to work.” It is important to her to also share: She not only donates to children's cancer aid, but also clothes and money for the girls' home in Frankfurt.

"Adorable Caro": "In my videos I also talk about mental struggles, lovesickness, toxic relationships.

Nest seems very mature, very reflective for a 22-year-old.

A few months ago she was operated on for a benign tumor in her knee.

Since then, she has really realized how important health is.

"I was so happy when I was finally able to walk up the stairs and do sports again."

For personal reasons, she had her breasts operated on – communicating openly is part of being authentic.

Her new swimwear collection has just come out, many skimpy bikinis because she likes to wear them, but there are also some with more fabric.

These are produced in Portugal.

They are available in sizes XS to XL.

It all started in autumn 2020 with glittering party dresses.

There are now also stylish jogging suits, jewellery, and sunglasses.

Her new collection will also be released this week.

On this day she is wearing a pleated outfit: "I've always liked fashion.

I do the creative part, my dad does everything else.” Nest improvised a lot at first, but now a designer takes care of the technical drawings for production.

Apart from beautiful pictures, what accounts for their success?

"In my videos I also talk about mental struggles, lovesickness, toxic relationships.

Because when I started, I felt like that was missing on social media.

I found that I could help people talk about stuff like that.” Nest also co-hosts a weekly podcast, Pussytalk, with fellow influencer Sonny Loops.

"Adorable Caro": "I also show a lot of bad moments."

In one episode she also talks about typical prejudices about influencers: that they just chilled on the beach in Ibiza and held a body lotion in front of the camera.

She says in an interview: "Some comment: 'Everything always looks so beautiful with her.'

That's not true.

I also show a lot of bad moments where I'm crying because I've had an argument or I'm overwhelmed and stressed.

Right now I only sleep four hours.”

Of course she is grateful that she was able to turn her hobby into a career.

"At the same time I ask myself: How do I reconcile everything?

Doing justice to people, doing justice to myself.

Insta, Tiktok, Podcast and build my fashion company.

I also have a responsibility towards our employees.

The job is harder than you think." (Kathrin Rosendorff)

"My followers can identify with me": That says influencer and fashion designer Achraf Ait Bouzalim from Frankfurt.
