Today, Iraqi forces thwarted a suicide terrorist attack in the eastern province of Diyala.
Alsumaria News website quoted a security source as saying that "a security force surrounded a suicide bomber who was trying to blow himself up among the crowds of citizens in the village of Mayah in the governorate," noting that the terrorist blew himself up without recording injuries among the security forces.
The Iraqi forces are continuing their security operations in several areas to cleanse them of the remnants of ISIS terrorists, as they started this morning a large-scale security operation to cleanse areas in Diyala province.
