A restaurant is to be set up in the Kratzerwirt.
The plan provides for public use on the ground floor.
The scratch host was a topic at the most recent meeting of the Berglern municipal council.
The planning is progressing, two new beer gardens are being considered.
Berglern – In the last meeting before the summer break, the Berglern municipal council took a big step forward with the legal planning requirements for a fundamental redesign of the center of the Mitterlern district.
The board unanimously approved the current plan version for the second accelerated change of the development plan in this area.
This change had become necessary after the Scratch Inn was sold.
A restaurant is to be set up here, and the plan expressly envisages public uses on the ground floor.
The only point of criticism from Christine Kohlschütter (FWG) was that the planned 36 parking spaces might not be enough.
Parking space is scarce in the area anyway.
However, she didn't want to stand in the way of the whole project.
Berglern: The village square moves a bit to the south
That was generally the tendency in the consultation, that one does not want to put any obstacles in the way of the investor who wants to bring the Kratzerwirt back to life.
The village square wanders a bit to the south.
This creates space for two beer gardens that are to be built here and could thus create a small village center for Mitterlern.
One of the beer gardens is screened off from the neighboring residential buildings by a noise barrier.
scratch host: The ground floor is to be used exclusively by the public
The development plan also provides that apartments may be built on the first floor of the historic and listed building.
The ground floor, on the other hand, is now expressly reserved for specific uses.
This includes rooms for freelance professions, training rooms, local supply companies and "facilities for church, cultural, social, health and sporting purposes".
This also corresponds to what the investor had stated as a planning goal from the start.
In the meantime, the Berglern community has cleared out more in the scratch inn and thrown up a larger pile of wood in front of the building.
According to a statement from the municipality, everyone can use this free of charge.
The first citizens have already made use of it and drove up with a trailer.
