Mammendorf – The district council has decided to change the usage statute for the Mammendorfer See, which has now come into force after it was announced in the official gazette.
The decisive factors for the changes were the outdated statutes from 1991 and also the many events of recent years.
Too much rubbish and shards in recent years
"Several parties were held on the site, at which extreme vandalism and heavy "littering" had to be determined," explains the district office.
The groups of revelers transported crates of beer and other alcohol from the nearby supermarkets to the bathing lake in shopping trolleys and then left everything there.
The glass bottles are particularly dangerous here, some of which are willfully smashed and thus pose a danger to guests and emergency services.
The shards are difficult or impossible to remove, especially from the meadow.
No more parties and glass bottles
Appropriate regulations had to be introduced so that the security service and the police had a better handle against “party people”.
In the main, these are:
- Use between midnight and 6 a.m. is not permitted.
- Carrying and using glass containers (bottles and glasses) is prohibited.
This does not apply to children's food in appropriate glass containers or to using the containers provided by the kiosk on its terrace.
- Staying for the purpose of excessive alcohol consumption (e.g. private parties or graduation ceremonies) is prohibited.
The new statutes are posted at the entrance
Further prohibitions, such as staying undressed or feeding waterfowl, can be found in the statutes, which can be found on the homepage of the amusement park or the district office.
A notice of the statute can be found on the building of the outdoor pool next to the entrance.
