Nine Palestinians were injured today as a result of the Israeli occupation forces' suppression of a demonstration at the northern entrance to the city of Al-Bireh in the West Bank.
Wafa news agency reported that the occupation forces attacked the participants in the demonstration, which came out to protest the crimes of the occupation, and fired bullets and poison gas canisters at them, as a result of which two young men were shot and seven others suffocated.
Today, a comprehensive strike engulfed the cities and towns of the West Bank in protest against the continuous crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinians, the most recent of which was the crime committed in the Old City of Nablus, which resulted in the death of three Palestinians and the injury of 40 others, and a number of others were injured as a result of the occupation forces' assault on them west of Tulkarm.
