In Nablus, the funerals of Ibrahim Nabulsi and the two other wanted persons who were killed this morning (Tuesday) by the IDF and special forces in a shootout in the city's Kasbah were held. The funeral was watched by a large crowd and the burial procession was accompanied by Palestinian gunmen firing into the air and calls for revenge in Israel. The three dead were wrapped in the Palestinian flag.
Nabulsi's mother was seen in the funeral procession carrying his coffin and holding a rifle.
She wore his "diskette" with a smiling face and said that her son asked her "not to cry if the martyr falls".

"To preserve the legacy of the martyrs"

According to Palestinian reports, Nabulsi's father was an officer in the Palestinian National Security.
During the funeral he said that "the peace project achieved nothing", and called on the younger generation to "preserve the legacy of the martyrs".
"Each time a right-wing government rises (in Israel) whose goal is to shed Palestinian blood. Abraham persecuted Israel, not she who persecuted him. Every time he heard that there was an Israeli army, he went out to confront," said the father.
A trade strike was declared in Nablus and other cities in the territories following the killings in Nablus.
