100 years of history 1910 franchise tea house
Lianxianglou has a history of more than 100 years. It was formerly known as the cake shop, a wedding cake shop in Xiguan, Guangzhou. Since 1910, it has specialized in tea houses and changed its name to Lianxianglou.
Later, it was renamed Lianxianglou because Chen Ruyue, a scholar of Hanlin, praised its lotus paste for its delicious taste.
In 1918, Lian Xiang Lou opened a branch in Hong Kong, and later moved to Wellington Street, Central, on the ground floor and first floor of the seven-storey tenement building.
In February 2019, Lianxiang Building was closed due to the end of the lease agreement. The Yan family, the proprietor of Lianxiang Building, closed the business for a while, but fortunately, the employees took over the joint venture. to operate.
Later, Hong Kong experienced social movements and the outbreak of the epidemic, and it was difficult for the "Lian Heung Tea House" to continue operating. Therefore, the Gan family decided to take over again and renamed it "Lian Heung House" again.
Reporters called Lin Heung House in Central and Lin Heung Inn in Tsuen Wan, but no one answered the phone.
As for the staff of Lianxiangju in Sheung Wan, the store is operating as usual and will not be affected. "We are not the same as them, not the same boss."
