The primaries for the job list: Naama Lazimi in second place after Michaeli, Bar Lev in ninth place

About 40,000 Labor Party officials chose their candidates today (Tuesday) as part of the primaries for the party list.
After Speaker Merav Michaeli, Knesset members Naama Lazimi, Gilad Karib, Efrat Raiten and Ram Shefa were elected in the opening five.
Lazimi, a member of the Labor Party for many years, has grown and grown among the Labor youth and is considered to be associated with the previous Labor Party Chairman Shelly Yachimovich.
Emily Moati was chosen in sixth place, and in descending order, Yaya Fink, Abtisam Marana, Amar Bar Lev and Herta Baruch.
Labor Ministers Amr Bar Lev and Nachman Shai were relegated to unrealistic positions.
Bar Lev came in first place in the previous primaries a year and a half ago but was unable to maintain his support for a term in the Ministry of Internal Security.
Minister Nachman Shai who was elected in 9th place in the previous primaries has deteriorated to 16th place in the current primaries.
